It was not my intention to freeze anything, but met-art are no longer using the hosted platform, and with that MAC no longer gets any new galleries.

feel free to make what you want. All the galleries got found by people running the cracker, programmed in vb net, I worked out the structure of the URLs, created a database that listed all possible combinations and when people ran the cracker it got a section to search and reported any finds back. All the findings then being in the database those URLs to images were then provided to hot link to images, nothing being stored at some dodgy other than the links.

After ALL of that, I found some place in the webmasters part of met art that would dump all the links anyway, via a search on eye colour, breast size and the rest, making the whole process rather pointless, but a nice little project for me to learn php and some web coding. I know you'll ask me now for the url to the met art search but erm idk what is any more, though a little look around the webmasters bit I'm sure you'll find it, you don't even need to be logged in....

Chris,
Would you mind if I made an android app that does the same thing, using mac.php?
Also if you could tell me how the cracker was able to find all of the hosted.met-art urls, that would get me started on searching fhg.met-art =)

Geoff,
Do you know fhg.met-art's structure, or how I could 'search' through it like the cracker does?

Bummer, I doubt I will be doing anything about that. I have not looked at the code for MAC for a long time and so I doubt I'll be updating it any time soon.

It looks like the arrangement of photos at Met art has changed.
They now have something like 'photos of the day'
One example is at ...
http://guests.metart.com/view/pop.php?potd=1866
It seems the potd value can range from as low as 69
up to roughly 1866. Perhaps in time more will be added.
Sadly not as high resolution as the old galleries were.

All things change with time.
