I combined various small projects into one.

Presenting the VR Porn Database. Currently under development. The aim is to catalogue all VR porns available and provide a good search on that data. I amalgamated my VR Porn Tagger project into it for seamless integration with MP3 Tagger.

22/4/2024: I am no longer publishing updates here…. I post on this projects sub reddit if anything major happens.
21/1/2024: Some fella requested a card view for genre combine. So did that.
31/03/2023: Added Redgif posts to reddit posts. Data purge and redirect of povr.com changes. Slight adjustment to video cards.
06/03/2023: Fought with VR Bangers for two days. Now indexed properly. Added trailer widget, bug fixes.
06/03/2023: Added a few thousand video clips, can be seen in trailers. Fixed bug in followed view. Fixed Find. Fixed some other things. Styled the video for individual video.
10/03/2023: Teaser & official trailers are now in 3D on the video page. Improved thumbnail play for teaser & trailers. I have also created a view for scenes that have a vr teaser / trailer.
08/03/2023: Some fella on Reddit suggested an improvement that I have implemented. Previously named Notification are now ‘Follows’. The web notifications still work as normal but there is now a page listing the latest updates, even if you have not enabled web notifications. They are listed on the Followed page.
Updated to Laravel 10, wrote some tests and fixed some upgrade bugs.
06/03/2023: Fixed Search filters, improved multi video card display, there is now an indication that a video has high resolution trailer

08/01/2023: Api for tagging videos. MP3 Tag can now be used to tag videos with information from this database. Use this configuration file. Put it in Mp3tag\data\sources

Thanks, very good project. What would be the cost of storing cover images (even in smaller resolution) for each video? I saw that they are hotlinked which will for sure cause problems with availability in a future.
Suppose no additional cost. A single image per video I already intended to do as it is a requirement for mobile usage seo. I have more than enough on my provider for that. I have not done it yet as I have had before in previous projects, cease and desist orders when actually storing the images as they are copyright before I contact venders for affiliation status.

Hmm, yes ofc it’s possible, but I think the effort required vs return will be negligible, plus open up this project to competitors without them having to do much work.There is the web push offered in producers / genres & actors if you want to stay up to date. Yes you could set a notification on everything, with 300 or so movies released each week is every released video what you want?
You’re absolutely right. Allowing an RSS feed on such a base in this way would be tantamount to API access. I had missed the notifications option and it’s even better from my point of view since I’m only interested in the releases of a few producers. Thanks for the reply and good luck with the rest!
np bud, to get to the notifications, you need an account, google / whatever and then click top right and you’ll get to settings. all the notifications are there. btw seeing as you see the ramifications and use coding syntax; do you code? I’m looking for someone to help with styling. msg me on reddit if your interested.
